In the past six years the income gap has closed at a rate faster than ever before in history, and for those who do not know what that is, it is what you have been brainwashed to believe is the difference between %26quot;rich%26quot; and %26quot;poor%26quot;, in other words the rising economy has made more money for those in the bottom quintile than those at the top, so in reality the poor grew richer while the rich sat still, frigging amazing economy isn%26#039;t it.

Uh, no. I%26#039;m a former democrat (current independant) and I have a sweet nest egg which includes nearly 850K in stocks. The smart thing is to just not to put all your eggs in one basket.

I%26#039;ve never heard anyone complain that Wall Street is for the rich. You can make a start there for pennies on the dollar. You do have to have some knowledge in investing, though, and for that reason it%26#039;s not for the average joe to endeavor by his or herself.

On what information are you basing your statement? Why is it you think people are stupid and don%26#039;t know that? The other part of America, those without a college education, are basically in the long line for getting ahead in America and generally don%26#039;t have money to invest in the markets, they are more interested in paying their bills and keeping a roof over their heads. I know that is a foreign concept to many people who think you just snap your fingers and improve your situation in life. We all know it doesn%26#039;t work that way.

If they are loosing money in the market, whose fault is that? If THEY pick a stock that%26#039;s a dog, they might loose money. If they pick risky things, to hopefully get a higher return, whose fault is that?

We have lots of clients that have small investment accounts and they aren%26#039;t rich. I agree that they forget about their retirement accounts and just whine!
