How did the Liberals and Conservatives do compared to the other parties in resolving the Great Depre

I am working on a debate to argue that the Liberals and Conservatives did better than the Co-operative Commenwealth Federation, Communist, Union Nationale, and Social Credit Parties in resolving the Great Depression in Canada. Please offer some ideas. Thank you.

Canada can thank the USA(the economic powerhouse of the World) for ending the Great Depression.

History is clear....the Liberals solved the Great Depression.

The Conservatives fought against Roosevelt every step of the way.

Conservates didn%26#039;t do anything to stop the Great Depression. It was the liberal ideology of Roosevelt and the New Deal that stopped the depression. Republicans fought the New Deal every step of the way. They are trying to tear down New Deal reforms (such as social security) to this very day.

WW2 brought us out of the Depression from the time Hitler entered Poland. I would say it was the Nazi Party that ended the depression by creating the need for mass production and an increase of the means of production. 65 million dead is an awful price to pay to end the Great Depression.
