i pulled my report from trans-union...

just for starters, it shows my current employer as a company that i left 25 YEARS AGO!!!!

it shows my current address as one i moved from 3 YEARS AGO!!!!

i found at least 3 more inaccuracies regarding accounts that were closed between 2 and 5 YEARS AGO!!!!

tried filing on-line %26quot;disputes%26quot;...no good...entries were %26quot;kicked back%26quot; with no reason shown...

just curious...

I had a similar experience on my credit profile. They basically ignored my requests.

I then submitted a letter that specifically listed each negative item as well as the exact words that should replace that item. It was so exact that a child would have known how to fix it. I mailed it to them via certified US Mail and got most of it corrected. In my letter, I also explained the inadequate response that they provided the first time, which was why the letter was necessary.

The following article shows what normally goes into a credit report. The employer information comes from a credit application that you filed years ago, possibly on a mortgage application, but it could have been anything.

Trans Union is the worst of the three. They never have updated information. However, they do respond to your complaints. Be patient.

If you could not do it on line try calling the phone number on the website. I was able to do it on line and had a lot of personal info removed or changed to the correct info.

If you are having a hard time with getting this info removed and inaccuracies are being kicked back it would be a good idea to go get your credit repaired. Go to Trinity Credit Services ask for Bryan. By the way you know you only have about a 10% chance of actually getting anything off by doing it yourself? It is better to let the pro%26#039;s do it!
